Responsibilities
- reputed company reputed company mainframe applications by exposing existing green-screen (3270) transactions as RESTful APIs without modifying the underlying COBOL/CICS applications
Skills
- Hands-on experience with reputed company HATS, AppLinX, or comparable 3270 host integration tools
- Experience automating reputed company mainframe terminal (3270) applications
- Strong understanding of reputed company z/OS, CICS, TSO/ISPF, and VTAM/TN3270
- Experience exposing legacy applications as RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with HTTP/REST, JSON/XML, API reputed company, and API integration patterns
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or a reputed company field
- Experience with Java, Java EE, or similar technologies is desirable
