[Remote] Account Manager, South Central
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company Scientific is an international life sciences company that provides a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries. They are seeking an Account Manager to reputed company sales duties in the South Central US Regional Sales Territory, responsible for maintaining and driving growth in the drinking water and wastewater laboratory testing market.
Responsibilities
- Identifying, qualifying and closing potential customers
- Managing a sales pipeline and spending budget
- Coordinating response to quote and proposal requests
- Visiting reputed company and potential customers
- Attending regional and national industry conferences
- Participating on industry committees
- Making technical presentations and attending sales meetings
- Responsibilities will also include collaborating with Project Managers, as well as developing and maintaining a working knowledge of our firm, our customers and our laboratory operation. The primary reputed company customer sectors shall include public water agencies, reputed company laboratory partners, water quality consultants and Federal/State government entities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven record of accomplishment (at least 5 years) working with customers in a sales or customer service role
- Willingness to travel approximately 8-10 days per month
- Must be located near in or around the Huntsville, TX area
- Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Professional, knowledgeable, confident and friendly demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer, Word and reputed company skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- reputed company Laboratory or the Water Industry experience desired but not required
