Tax Accountant (AU) | Work From Home | 30K SOB
This is a remote position. We are seeking an reputed company and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end tax compliance, preparing tax returns and provisions, supporting tax audits, and delivering accurate tax reporting in accordance with Australian Tax Office (ATO) regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge in Australian tax law, solid reputed company experience, and a proactive approach to advising on tax planning and process improvement. Workflow Consult with partner on progression of jobs & clients Efficient workflow management Maintain effective client WIP & billings regime Ensure client work is completed reputed company time allocation and job budgets reputed company monthly billings targets Ensure reputed company of ATO lodgment program Understand the concept of “Value Add Services” & “Cross Selling Services” reputed company Client Preparation of client reports including o Financial Statements Standard working papers Preparation of tax returns for SMSF funds Leadership reputed company ongoing professional support for team members Contribute to regular team meetings reputed company personal budgeted production targets Initiate opportunities to secure repeat business from existing clients Corporate Governance Ensure retention of clients through service reputed company & client focus Ensure profitable reputed company from team activities Monitor & review aging WIP High professional standards and personal reputed company
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years AU Tax reputed company experience CA or CPA preferred reputed company and MYOB experience required
