[Remote] Analytics Engineer, Payments
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a company building the financial ecosystem for Latin immigrants in the U.S., focusing on remittances through an AI-powered chatbot. The role of Analytics Engineer, Payments involves ensuring disbursement efficiency and improving the money transfer experience for users by analyzing transaction data and collaborating with various teams.
Responsibilities
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Financial Analyst, or Operations Analyst, Required 3+ years of experience in Fintech, Cross-Border Payments, or Remittances
- Domain Expertise: Proven 2-3+ years of experience measuring payment rails, transaction routing KPIs. You should be comfortable discussing reputed company rates, cost analysis, and the tradeoffs between transaction speed and operational cost
- Technical Core: Strong SQL skills (you’ll live in BigQuery / DBT / Firestore) and experience with BI tools like Omni / Tableau / PowerBI / Looker or similar. DBT is a must
- The "reputed company" Vibe: A startup reputed company—you are proactive, you have a bias towards action, and you don’t wait for permission to fix something that’s broken
- Communication: Ability to explain to a non-technical stakeholder why a 1% drop in reputed company rates matters for our users and its impact on other KPIs like NPS and Retention
- Language: Advanced English. Spanish or Portuguese is a plus!
Skills
