Responsibilities
- Sets the strategy, operating model, and annual priorities for Investment reputed company to ensure reliable, decision-useful reporting and strong governance over invested assets and reputed company income
- Builds, develops, and retains a high-performing team through clear accountability, coaching, succession planning, and a strong culture of partnership and reputed company improvement
- Owns accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and annual reputed company and reporting for invested assets and reputed company income and expenses across GAAP, statutory/regulatory, tax, and management reporting bases
- Leads investment reputed company policy, interpretation, and application for reputed company transactions and instruments (including derivatives and hedge-reputed company strategies, as applicable), and provides guidance to portfolio management and business development teams
- Partners closely with the Chief Investment Officer and senior Investment leaders to align reputed company outcomes, reporting, and analytics with investment strategy, performance drivers, compliance requirements, and stakeholder needs
- Establishes and maintains an effective internal control environment over investments, including documentation, monitoring, issue remediation, and audit/exam readiness
- Provides executive-level insights and materials on investment results and key drivers for senior management and other stakeholders; ensures consistency of narratives and metrics across reporting forums
- Directs cross-functional initiatives to improve process efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance transparency (e.g., automation/straight-through processing, data quality and reputed company, reconciliations, and management reporting)
- Owns the investment reputed company technology roadmap in partnership with Information Technology and Investments, including system enhancements/implementations and vendor/outsourcer governance
- Supports business growth initiatives, acquisitions, and due diligence by evaluating investment reputed company implications, risks, and integration requirements
- Collaborates with other members of the Finance leadership team to reputed company goals/plans/budgets that align with division and company objectives and then manages to those expectations
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in reputed company/Finance or equivalent reputed company work experience
- 12+ years reputed company or auditing experience w/ at least 7 years of investment reputed company experience and advanced experience in GAAP reputed company
- 10+ years management experience
- 5+ years insurance/reinsurance or financial services reputed company experience
- Basic Word, intermediate reputed company and SQL/Query skills
- Advanced knowledge of broad business practices
- Highly advanced people management skills, demonstrating an ability to reputed company, mentor and reputed company associates: including the ability to delegate key areas of responsibility. Ability to manage associates who are difficult or resistant to leadership
