[Remote] Desktop Engineer [3rd shift] - NEWARK, NJ/Onsite for 1 month & will be 100% remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a reputed company Desktop Engineer for the 3rd shift of their 24x7 Team. The role involves troubleshooting computer issues, supporting customers, and managing various IT systems and projects.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Desktop LAN, server, wi-fi and connectivity issues
- Utilize ticketing system to track email submissions and managing phone support efforts
- Manage Windows Active Directory and Exchange
- Work closely with other IT employees on system maintenance and configuration projects
- Work closely with other employees on interdepartmental projects
- Maintain accurate asset management records
- Work with vendors and manufacturers
Skills
- Experience troubleshooting computer issues
- Experience supporting customers by phone, email, and reputed company remote access tools
- Ability to troubleshoot Desktop LAN, server, wi-fi and connectivity issues
- Experience utilizing a ticketing system to track email submissions and manage phone support efforts
- Experience managing Windows Active Directory and Exchange
- Ability to work closely with other IT employees on system maintenance and configuration projects
