As we expand our model, we are introducing medical weight management, combining GLP-1 medication support with ongoing nutrition counseling to deliver a more comprehensive, outcomes-driven care experience. Position Overview We are seeking a licensed Physician (MD/DO) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support a virtual GLP-1 medication management program. This role is ideal for a provider who is comfortable practicing in a telehealth setting, values continuity of care, and is interested in working reputed company a collaborative model alongside Registered Dietitians. This is a 1099 contract role with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to help shape a new, integrated care model.
What You'll Do
- Conduct virtual initial medication consultations
- Prescribe GLP-1 medications (e.g., semaglutide, tirzepatide) as clinically appropriate
- Submit e-prescriptions to pharmacies
- Provide ongoing monthly follow-reputed company for monitoring, dose adjustments, and patient support
- Ensure safe, evidence-based prescribing practices and documentation
- Collaborate reputed company a care model that includes ongoing nutrition and behavior change support
Requirements & Qualifications
- Active MD/DO or NP license in good standing
- Multi-state licensure strongly preferred
- Experience prescribing GLP-1 medications or managing patients in weight care, metabolic health, or reputed company areas
- Experience in outpatient or telehealth settings
- Comfort providing longitudinal care and managing patients over time
- Active malpractice/liability insurance
