Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls, emails, and chat messages from members, providers, and internal partners with professionalism and empathy.
  • Provide accurate information about arenaflex health plans, coverage options, and member benefits.
  • Guide members through complex eligibility, claims, and authorization processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Document all interactions in the arenaflex Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, maintaining precise and up‑to‑date records.
  • Identify and resolve member issues promptly, escalating to senior specialists when necessary.
  • Educate members on self‑service tools, online portals, and mobile applications to promote self‑sufficiency.
  • Assist providers with credentialing, re‑credentialing, and other administrative tasks.
  • Process insurance verifications, new case handoffs, satisfaction surveys, complaints, and requests in accordance with arenaflex policies.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Review Team to handle pre‑authorizations, appeals, and medical necessity determinations.
  • Perform routine audits of member benefit histories to ensure accurate application of deductibles, co‑pays, and out‑of‑pocket maximums.
  • Support the preparation of regulatory reports and compliance documentation as required by state and federal agencies.
  • Continuously improve service quality by providing feedback on common member concerns and suggesting process enhancements.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Health Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a call‑center or similar fast‑paced environment, preferably within health‑care or insurance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM platforms.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex information clearly and courteously.
