[Remote] Software Engineer, Stablecoin
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ramp is a fintech company building smart infrastructure for finance teams. They are seeking a Software Engineer focused on stablecoin-based payment and treasury systems to help build and scale their infrastructure while ensuring secure integrations with external partners.
Responsibilities
- Help build & scale Ramp’s stablecoin-based payment and treasury infrastructure
- Partner with external providers and internal stakeholders to deliver end-to-end product flows
- Solve Ramp’s toughest fintech challenges with new technologies
- Collaborate with engineers across Ramp to integrate stablecoin capabilities into core products
Skills
- Minimum 4+ years of experience shipping high-quality architectures for critical systems preferred
- Proven experience with stablecoin technologies, blockchain-based payment rails, and/or wallet infrastructure
- Strong production experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or equivalent)
- Deep proficiency in at least one object-oriented or functional programming language (Python, Go, Java, or similar)
- Experience working on security-sensitive systems, with interest in key management, wallet security, or secure transaction flows
- Experience building or operating payments, money movement, treasury, stablecoin, or crypto infrastructure in production environments
- Intuition for on-chain UX and settlement mechanics, including wallet-based transaction signing, confirmation/finality, and chain-level tradeoffs like fees and latency
- Direct experience building on-chain wallets or with integrating a crypto onramp / offramp APIs for custody and remittance flows
- Experience integrating with external financial service providers and APIs at scale
- Familiarity with cross-border settlement, FX, or treasury management systems
- Background in highly regulated fintech environments (e.g., payments, banking, or government-compliant infrastructure)
