Job Title: Security Analyst Intermediate
Location: Remote Job (EST) some travel onsite for meetings (about 2 weeks per year)
Scope of the project: Medicaid security for payment processing systems.
Daily Duties / Responsibilities
- Vulnerability scanning and coordinating remediation with responsible teams
- Deploy and manage EDR
- Review Firewall requests
- Research and assess newly released vulnerabilities
- Assist with incident response and investigation
- Assist with GRC assessments
- Create alerts in SIEM based off data from various security tools
Required Skills (rank in order of Importance)
- Ability to communicate vulnerability information to non-security personnel
- Working knowledge of web applications
- Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL
Strong understanding of networking (Nmap tool, Wireshark, and vulnerability scanning)
Preferred Skills (rank in order of Importance)
- Experience performing searching in SIEM
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
- Experience with NIST 800-53
