Join Our Team:

We're seeking an experienced Product Designer to lead the design of our Feature Management and Enterprise product areas at LaunchDarkly. As a key member of our team, you'll drive the end-to-end user experience strategy, collaborating closely with cross-functional peers to deliver impactful solutions that simplify complexity and drive business results.

In this role, you'll focus on designing intuitive and scalable workflows for Feature Management, the core of our platform, and elevate our Enterprise experience by crafting powerful and usable features for large organizations. You'll work closely with customers, research, and data teams to inform design decisions and product strategy, ensuring our platform meets the needs of thousands of developers worldwide.

This is an ideal opportunity for a designer who thrives in systems thinking, enjoys simplifying complexity, and is passionate about influencing the direction of a platform that transforms the way developers build and deliver software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design of end-to-end user experiences for Feature Management and Enterprise expansion, from discovery to delivery and iteration.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define and shape product strategy with a clear design point of view.
  • Translate complex technical problems into intuitive UX patterns, conducting user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Deliver high-quality design artifacts, balancing user needs with technical feasibility, and collaborate with engineering and product partners to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Advocate for user needs, maintaining a deep understanding of our customers and their challenges, and mentor other designers to raise the bar for UX design craft and thinking.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience as a Product Designer, preferably in Enterprise SaaS software, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and user-centered design processes.
  • Proficiency with modern design tools like Figma, and excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • A lifelong learner, able to handle multiple complex projects, and a team player with a strong ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
About You:
  • Team-Oriented: You excel at collaborating across the company, building relationships with stakeholders, and advocating for the best user experience.
  • Commercially Aware: You understand how design ties to business objectives, incorporating target audience profiles and insights into effective design solutions.
  • Driven: You're motivated to achieve success, both at work and in your personal life, with a strong desire to grow and improve your craft.
What We Offer:

Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones* for Level 4: Zone 1 ($167,000 - $229,000), Zone 2 ($150,000 - $206,000), and Zone 3 ($141,000 - $195,000), with additional benefits, including Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits.
