Audio Lead - Netflix Game Development

We are seeking an exceptional Audio Lead to join our team in developing a cutting-edge, AAA multi-stage game for Netflix. As a key member of our game development team, you will be responsible for crafting an immersive and emotionally resonant sound experience that leaves a lasting impression on our players.

In this full-time, remote role, you will work closely with our Creative Director and Design Director to define the sound vision for the game and lead the team to bring this vision to life. Your expertise in sound design, music composition, and audio implementation will be essential in driving the creation of high-quality audio content and ensuring seamless integration with the game's mechanics and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Creative Director and Design Director to define the sound vision for the game and lead the team to implement this vision
• Drive the creation of high-quality audio content, including sound effects, music, and character dialogue
• Lead cross-discipline collaboration to spec, build, and tune sound systems, working closely with design and engineering teams
• Implement audio content in Unreal Engine, from rapid prototyping to robust live content
• Manage and mentor other sound team members, as well as oversee relationships with vendors and external partners
• Utilize playtesting, user research, and data analysis to inform sound design decisions and create a game experience that resonates with our players

Requirements

• Experience with industry-standard sound tools, such as Wwise and Pro Tools
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, particularly in a remote team setting
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage sound production that relies heavily on vendors and external partners
