Lonza’s Capsules & Health Ingredients business is the trusted partner for innovative products, including capsules and health ingredients, customization services and end-to-end dosage form solutions for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical companies.

We are looking for a driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team.

The position can be home office based in Germany or France.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales at Pharma accounts in Germany, Switzerland, Baltic countries, with particular focus on strategic accounts. Travels abroad in assigned export territories.

  • Negotiate and close contractual agreements, is pivotal in ensuring high customer experience and satisfaction with our products and services; guaranties flawless execution both internally & externally.

  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities to grow Lonza CHI’s share in the hard empty capsule market. Assist in analyzing the HEC market, anticipate market trends and requirements, provide feedback to management about macro-economic situation and competitive activities.

  • Work closely with divisional and regional business leaders to identify and select strategic business opportunities, define effective plans to secure profitable growth and meet customers’ expectation. Develop customer relationship at all hierarchy levels.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Service, Marketing, QA, BD, R&D, Technical Service, RA, Operations, Finance…), coordinate assigned cross functional projects with internal stakeholders.

  • Be responsible for demonstrating Company’s value proposition and introducing new products, services, technologies in the region.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, sciences and/or pharmaceutical & chemistry.

  • Extensive experience in Sales/ Business Development

  • Industry experience (Pharmaceutical and/or Nutrition) is an asset

  • Track record in growing strategic accounts.

  • Willing to travel extensively (40%).

  • Must be action and execution oriented, possess the ability to work independently and organizational agility.

  • Experience in identifying market trends and establishing action plans that capitalize on those trends.

  • Ability to work across regions and multiple functions.

  • Sales driven and result oriented with a high degree of enthusiasm, creativity and an entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Proficient in German and English.
