Regional Manager Southern Europe - (all genders)

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-06-24

GMI has established strong momentum throughout Southern Europe, including Spain, Italy, and Portugal. Your mission is to transform this position into category leadership by building strategic alliances with the region’s leading banks, ERP and payroll providers, and e-invoicing platforms—partners with the scale and influence to place our solution directly in front of thousands of CFOs simultaneously.

Reporting directly to the Head of Partnerships, you will initially take a hands-on role and, upon achieving key growth milestones, recruit and lead a regional Go-to-Market team to accelerate expansion.

Tasks

  • Take full ownership of the P&L for Southern Europe, consistently exceeding targets for ARR, margins, and market share.
  • Establish and secure strategic alliances with Tier-1 banks, ERP, and payroll platforms; craft joint value propositions and go-to-market strategies that enable a 10x expansion in distribution.
  • Drive revenue generation from partnerships through co-marketing initiatives, sales enablement, and seamless product integrations.
  • Localise pricing, messaging, and compliance efforts—such as FatturaPA (Italy), SII (Spain), and SAF-T (Portugal)—while maintaining alignment with the broader corporate strategy.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead the regional Go-to-Market team upon achieving key traction milestones.
  • Act as the regional market intelligence lead and strategic sparring partner to the Head of Partnerships, delivering accurate forecasts and resource planning.

Requirements

  • Over 7 years of experience in senior commercial or strategic partnership roles (e.g. Country Manager, GM, Head of Strategic Partnerships) within FinTech, B2B SaaS, or consulting.
  • Demonstrated success in converting flagship partnerships into €10M+ ARR with full budget ownership.
  • Strong C-level network within the finance and accounting sectors of Spain and/or Italy, with established credibility among software vendors and banking executives.
  • Entrepreneurial builder mindset combined with strategic foresight—comfortable closing complex enterprise deals today while designing scalable operational processes for the future.
  • Fluent in English and native-level proficiency in Spanish or Italian; Portuguese is a strong advantage.

Benefits

What We Offer:

  • Clear Responsibilities and Support: You will always know what is expected of you and work in an environment where mistakes are seen as valuable learning opportunities.
  • Collaborative Commitment to Excellence: Our team is passionate about achieving top performance and values your contribution as indispensable. Together, we accomplish great things.
  • Individual Development and Personal Accountability: We encourage self-motivation and personal responsibility to deliver outstanding results.
  • Dynamic Feedback for Continuous Learning: You will receive direct and timely feedback to help you quickly adapt to changes and continuously improve.
  • Open Communication and Personal Growth: We live by open communication and actively support you in shaping your personal and professional development.
  • Solution-Oriented Focus on Business Success: Our goal is to achieve results that drive the company forward. Your dedication to this success is highly valued.
  • Team Days, Summer and Christmas Celebrations: Shared events to foster team spirit and enjoyment at work.
  • Corporate Benefits: Enjoy a variety of perks.
  • Dog-Friendly Workplaces: Bring your best friend along.
  • Bike Leasing: Take advantage of bike leasing for eco-friendly and healthy commuting.
  • Corporate Fitness: Benefit from our company fitness program at local facilities near you.

Submit a one-page pitch outlining your first three strategic alliances that would have the potential to double GMI’s revenue in Southern Europe within 12 months. Focus on concrete partners, the rationale behind each selection, and how you would activate the partnership to drive measurable growth.
