ROLE OVERVIEW:

Jumpfactor is in search of a skilled WordPress Website Developer with 2-3+ years of proven experience building, maintaining, and optimizing high-performing websites. You’ll collaborate with our design, SEO, and strategy teams to implement custom builds, plugins, Google APIs, event tracking codes, and microdata markup to drive real results for B2B tech and MSP clients. WHO YOU ARE:

• 2-3+ years of experience in WordPress-based website development.

• Proficiency in utilizing WP Bakery, Elementor, Divi Builder, Beaver Builder, and Fusion Builder.

• Knowledgeable in HTML and CSS.

• Skillful in optimizing websites using WordPress best practices.

• Effective in publishing content onto existing websites.

• Capable of making adjustments to pages to accommodate changes in content.

• Skilled in bug fixing and resizing/adjusting elements as needed.

• Ability to follow designs from the design team and code into WordPress.

• Adherence to site speed best practices.

• Effective communication with the team during EST hours.

• Keen attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AS A WORDPRESS WEBSITE DEVELOPER

• 2-3+ years of experience in WordPress-based website development and maintenance.

• 2-3+ years of experience in implementing plugins, Google APIs, event tracking codes, and microdata markup on web pages.

• Strong understanding of W3C web design/coding standards.

• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.

• Experience with building/customizing eCommerce websites using Elementor, WP Bakery, Beaver Builder, Divi Builder, and Fusion Builder.

• Ability to build a WordPress theme.

• Experience in site speed optimization.

• Demonstrated ability to quickly self-learn and problem-solve.

• Familiarity with Hubspot Development, Landingi, UXPIN, and Mautic.

YOUR WEB DEVELOPMENT WORK WILL INCLUDE:

• Building, updating, and maintaining responsive websites.

• Collaborating closely with digital strategists, SEO specialists, and designers.

• Understanding client requirements and translating them into proper UX and UI functionality.

• Writing compliant code, including testing/debugging in multiple browsers and screen sizes.

• Coding and managing custom MySQL databases and queries.

• Configuring and customizing WordPress, WP plugins, and integrating with other tools.

• Creating custom shortcodes, widget areas, and custom post types within WordPress.

JOB TYPE:

• Full-Time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm EST)

• Independent Contractor

• 100% Remote
