As a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will join a dynamic team of cloud technologists tasked with... managing a diverse array of application portfolios and technologies. Job Type: Full-time, 100% Remote Salary Range: $140,000 - $155,000 (Depending on technical experience and interview assessment) Responsibilities Design and oversee complex Cloud engineering and integration projects encompassing application, security, and infrastructure architecture. Analyze the requirements of existing and proposed systems to develop technical specifications and organizational structures. Monitor VA enterprise architecture and computer systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with VA and Federal policies. Manage the lifecycle of VA Cloud infrastructure equipment, including requirements engineering and capacity planning. Collaborate in the development and maintenance of Cloud Infrastructure and Application architecture. Design and implement robust Cloud platform security measures and data assurance protocols. Configure and deploy software applications across various organizations. Conduct thorough testing of Cloud software applications and systems. Evaluate current and future users' needs to inform system design and improvements. Create comprehensive documentation including flowcharts, diagrams, manuals, and instructions for Administrators. Analyze Cloud requirements and develop technical specifications for system enhancements. Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide support for data processing systems. Proficiency in Single Sign-On (SSO), Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), PowerShell, Red Hat Linux, application integrations, scripting, cloud technology & storage, database design, and data security (PII and PHI). Qualifications Extensive hands-on experience in Cloud-related roles, demonstrating proficiency in required competencies. Proven track record of collaborating with customers and vendor partners to implement solutions and optimize business processes. Strong scripting and data management skills. Experience mentoring junior cloud engineers and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices. Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines effectively. Education And Requirements Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience in Cloud services. Solid expertise in Azure platforms and architecture within an Agile DevOps environment. Strong familiarity with Cloud Automation tools, processes, and technologies. Knowledge or experience as a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer.
