Remote Pharmacy Technician

• Conduct follow-ups and update patient information through data entry.
• Answer and manage inbound phone calls with professionalism.
• Handle Electronic Refill Scripts (ERX) efficiently.
• Order labs and relay lab results to the appropriate parties.
• Manage scheduled follow-ups and triage patient concerns.
• Provide support in a contact center environment.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Technician.
• Proven experience in a high call volume environment.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Athena.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical support.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Medical Assisting diploma or certification is preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred.
• High School Diploma required.
• Experience in prior authorization and insurance billing.

Work EnvironmentThis is a remote position requiring the handling of 200+ calls daily. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
