Job title: Data Management Analyst, Entry in Sylmar, CA at PPG Industries Company: PPG Industries Job description: As the Data Management Analyst, Entry you will create and maintain the master data aligned with business defined procedures to ensure data integrity and speed to market. You will research data sources to verify validity of master data and act as liaison with data owners and other functional partners. And you will be the champion of data policies who comprehends the complexity of the data relationships required to ensure transactions are executed successfully.You will report to the Manager of Data Management Operations, Aerospace and be based in Sylmar, CA, Valencia, CA, or Woodinville, WA (Seattle). This is a Hybrid work environment.PPG offers excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, 401k, additional retirement perks, bonuses, and supportive opportunities for growth!Responsibilities:Utilize Excel to meet business reporting requirements.Actively participate in data related projects and support business initiatives.Identify, escalate, and resolve data and system related issues as needed.Research and recommend improvements and updates to procedures and documentation.Complete requested master data object creations and updates in ERP (QAD) and other supporting systems, aligning with defined policies, procedures, and workflows; ensuring a high degree of data integrity and accuracy.Determine priority of and execute tasks in a dynamic environment and adjust priorities based on evolving situations to meet timelines.Directly partner with internal customers and functional partners for follow-up, clarification, verification, and troubleshooting.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, or similar.0-3 years of experience working in data management and/or analytics.
