Regional Sales Manager- Audio Visual industry

Job Summary: The AV Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining client relationships, and overseeing the sales strategy within the assigned region. This individual will manage a team of Independent sales Representatives, collaborate with internal departments, and work closely with distributors, integrators, and partners to achieve and exceed regional sales targets in the audio-visual (AV) industry. Key Responsibilities: • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the region to meet and exceed revenue targets. • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and support a team of sales representatives to ensure high performance and professional growth. • Customer Relationships: Build strong relationships with clients, integrators, and partners to understand their needs and offer tailored AV solutions. • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities, industry trends, and competitive activities within the region. • Pipeline Management: Oversee and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and consistent follow-through on potential leads. • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training to the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry developments. • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and technical support teams to align strategies and address client needs effectively. • Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, analyze sales performance data, and present findings and strategies to senior management. • Budget Management: Manage and monitor the sales budget and expenses to ensure cost efficiency. • Travel: Travel within the region as needed to meet clients and support the sales team. Qualifications: • Experience: Minimum of [5-7+] years of experience in sales management, preferably within the AV industry or related technology sectors. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of audio-visual products and solutions, including AV systems, integration, and industry standards. • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading and developing a successful sales team. • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • CRM Proficiency: Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and software. • Negotiation: Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills. • Travel: Willingness to travel up to [30-50%] within the region.
