Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. At least 2 years of experience in public nursing is required. Must have active AZ or compact RN license in good standing Certification: CPR/BLS. Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP) Job Description: Contracted for the 24/25 School Year Contract follows the academic district calendar ? 37.5 to 40 hours per week In-person Only Key Responsibilities: Administers first aid, medication and specialized medical treatment Assesses situations involving students? safety, abuse, and other health related issues Collaborates with parents, students, health care providers, and/or other agencies Conducts programs and/or activities, e.g., health screening, etc. Develops and maintains health care plans, medical emergency cards, emergency care plans, records, e.g., mandated screening, chronic illness, etc. Implements school health care plans and emergency care plans Prepares a wide variety of written materials, e.g., quantity reports, student activities, correspondence, internal audits, etc. Provides staff training on a variety of health-related subjects, e.g., CPR, universal precautions, disaster preparedness, child abuse, health education, etc. Reports students with contagious diseases as mandated by local public health authorities Responds to emergency situations and/or evaluates need to activate local EMS Salary: Starting at $41/hr. $1,537.50 to $1,640/week Why choose AB Staffing?
