Personal Care Aide (PCA)

### Job Overview: Heritage Grove at Indiana is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. ### Duties: - Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities - Administer medications according to prescribed schedules - Offer companionship and emotional support to clients - Assist with mobility and transfers - Provide dementia care for clients with memory impairments - Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary ### Qualifications: - Previous experience in caregiving or direct support is preferred but not required - Knowledge of ADLs and experience working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus - Compassionate and patient demeanor - Excellent communication skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and possess the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply for the position of Personal Care Assistant.
