Manager, Maintenance Control

American Airlines is seeking a Manager of Maintenance Control to join our team and oversee the maintenance operations of our fleet. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely maintenance of our aircraft, while managing a team of skilled technicians. Oversee and manage the daily maintenance operations of American Airlines' fleet. Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations and company policies. Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure safe and efficient operations. Monitor and analyze aircraft maintenance data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement. Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Create and maintain maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of all required maintenance tasks. Collaborate with other departments within the company to coordinate maintenance and minimize aircraft downtime. Develop and maintain relationships with third-party maintenance providers. Monitor and manage maintenance budgets and expenses. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities. Investigate and address any maintenance-related incidents or issues. Stay current on industry developments and advancements in aircraft maintenance technology. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management.
