Senior Database Manager (Lead)

ECS is seeking a Senior Database Manager (Lead) to work in our Stafford, VA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. ECS is seeking a Database Management Manager that will lead a team of highly skilled database support members in providing database administration and development capabilities to Family of Systems applications. The successful candidate will work closely with Program Managers, Customer Support Representatives, Software Development Teams, and Customer to support mission requirements. • 8+ years of professional software development experience. • 8+ years of experience programming using Microsoft SQL in a Microsoft .NET framework and C# / ASP .NET, React, JavaScript web-based enterprise applications, including user interface, business layer, and data layer development. • 5+ years' experience using Microsoft Windows, Chrome, and Edge browsers, and Microsoft Office Products. • 5+ years' experience using Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Azure ADO development environment, Agile, DevSecOps, PaaS, and IaaS software development tools, processes, procedures, and environments. • 5+ years' experience working with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS). • 8+ years of experience leading multiple database development teams concurrently. • 8+ years of experience programming using Microsoft SQL (Azure SQL, and SQL Managed Instance) database development and implementation issues, including replication, schema design, indexing, and SQL query capabilities such as unions and inner/outer joins. • 8+ years of experience translating naval aviation user and product owner inputs into definable database requirements. • 5+ years' experience, of which at least 3 years' specialized experience, including: • Extensive experience in DoD, DoN Cybersecurity, STIG, IAVA database support. • Strong ability to analyze data call requirements and supporting SQL queries necessary to meet requirements. • Knowledge of aviation or carrier training operations (as applicable), Windows and SQL Server systems, and relevant shipboard networking standards. • Naval aviation operations, DoD cybersecurity mandates, and IAVA implementation and management. • Security Clearance - Secret Apply Job!
