Venice CUSD #3 seeks a dynamic and dedicated teacher for our K-8 elementary school. The successful candidate must possess skills to create a flexible elementary grade program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with students; to motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for upper elementary grade education in accordance with each students ability; and, to establish good relationships with parents and other staff members. Knowledge of and training in Common Core State Standards, and middle school endorsements are a plus.
Qualifications
Illinois Professional Elementary License Endorsed for Elementary and Middle School (Content Endorsements preferred) Salary/Benefits Total Salary and Benefits based on Collective Bargaining Agreement Additional Notes District pays 100% of the employee's insurance! Competitive salary! Small class size of 7 students or less Venice School will be held in a new "temporary" building until a new school is built. The school will be located in Granite City.
