Project Manager II - CRE - Planning and Development

About the position The Project Manager II will oversee facility and infrastructure-related construction projects, managing them from planning through activation while adhering to corporate policies and regulations. This role involves leading multiple projects, collaborating with airport authorities, and ensuring that the airline's interests are prioritized in all developments. The position requires strong relationship management skills and a commitment to project delivery within budget and scope.

Responsibilities

  • Manage facility and infrastructure related construction projects from planning through activation.

  • Lead several projects that are typically less than $5 million and less complex in delivery.

,

  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with airport leaders and internal customers.

,

  • Create project justifications through stakeholder engagement and communication.

,

  • Develop project strategy and approach during the envisioning phase.

,

  • Handle vendor staff support overseeing project construction and administration.

,

  • Ensure projects meet defined metrics and compliance with budget, schedule, and scope.

,

  • Provide transparent, accurate, and consistent project reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

,

  • 4-8 years of Planning, Design (Engineering or Architecture), and/or Construction Experience.

,

  • Knowledge of design and construction management processes and best practices of Project Management.

,

  • Background in construction safety and capital improvement planning for facilities.

,

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Degree in Science and Engineering or Construction Management and/or MBA.

,

  • PMP, LEED, Black Belt, PE, RA, or CM certification.

,

  • 3-5 years of Project Management Experience.

  • Prior experience leading project teams.
