We are looking to hire a Jr. to Mid level Scrum Master for a 3 month contract in Southlake, TX. This will be a temporary need and will require a candidate come onsite 5 days a week at the headquarter office in Southlake, TX. There will be a possibility for the contract to extend beyond the original 3 month mark. Your day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitation of meetings to go over business requests, driving them through completion and keep all stakeholders informed of the status
  • Facilitation of scrum ceremonies for agile teams (Sprint Planning/Demos/Retrospectives)
  • Support Product team in prioritizing, moving along backlog items and new items coming through the pipeline
  • Support scrum teams by removing roadblocks and guiding team to achieve goals
  • Ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced working environment
  • Track metrics for the scrum teams throughout the releases and overall year
  • Prioritize bug resolution from QA within the current sprint
  • Prioritize bug resolution from UAT activities that occur at the end of previous sprints without impact to current workloads
  • Work across development teams to align on cross team dependencies and make sure teams are not blocking each other
  • Help facilitate resolution of issues during team’s work hours to make sure that working hours are not lost due to blockers
  • Coordinate with Product Scrum Master to make sure that deliverable timelines are met on or ahead of schedule to reduce just-in-time activities
  • Propose process improvements for development teams to ensure that sprint goals are set and achieved by teams

Must Have Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Scrum Master Certification preferred
  • 2 – 4 years of experience working in an agile environment
  • Ability to communicate across technical and business resources
  • Highly organized, self-starter with strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • JIRA experience preferred
  • Strong Microsoft skills; proficiency in Excel, Word, Teams
