A Cloud Service Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of cloud services within an organization, ensuring smooth delivery, optimal performance, cost efficiency, and compliance with regulations, by designing cloud strategies, managing migrations, monitoring service levels, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet business needs across the cloud environment; acting as the primary point of contact for cloud service issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

Cloud Strategy & Architecture:

Design and optimize cloud architectures based on business requirements.

Evaluate different cloud service providers and select the most suitable options.

Develop and implement cloud migration plans to move workloads to the cloud.

Service Delivery Management:

Monitor cloud service performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).

Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact operations.

Manage incident escalation processes and communicate effectively with stakeholders during critical situations.

Cost Optimization:

Analyze cloud usage patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Implement cost optimization strategies, such as right-sizing instances and utilizing reserved instances.

Track cloud spending and provide cost reports to stakeholders.

Security & Compliance:

Ensure cloud services comply with relevant security standards and regulations.

Collaborate with security teams to implement appropriate access controls and data encryption mechanisms.

Stakeholder Management:

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including business owners, IT teams, and cloud service providers

Communicate cloud service updates and changes effectively

Address client concerns and provide timely support

Continuous Improvement:

Identify areas for improvement in cloud service delivery processes

Lead initiatives to optimize cloud operations and drive efficiency

Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and best practices

Required Skills:

Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS,)

Expertise in cloud architecture design, deployment, and management

Proven experience in service level agreement (SLA) management

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks

Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
