Summer Internship for HBCU Students
RiseForward is an eight-week, hybrid summer internship collaboration with Salesforce and Bishop Ranch that connects talented HBCU students with leading companies at Bishop Ranch. This program is designed to bridge opportunity gaps by providing students with hands-on intern experience, mentorship, and career development skills in technology, procurement and business operations. A career in procurement puts you at the core of a company. These career paths allow you to gain an expansive view of an entire organization and learn how to help a company be more profitable! There are 45,000 procurement/purchasing openings projected each year on average over the next decade. This program aims to increase the number of HBCU Students' awareness of purchasing and procurement career paths. This is a 8-week, paid, hybrid internship opportunity for HBCU students. The first 4 weeks are on site in San Francisco, California and the last 4 weeks are remote. Travel and lodging provided by Tech Forward. Participants will work as junior procurement specialists, with past interns having been placed at companies such as BCforward - www.bcforward.com - a global IT consulting and workforce fulfillment firm Salesforce - www.salesforce.com - Salesforce is the worlds #1 customer relationship management (CRM) platform SYCOMP - www.sycomp.com - a global provider of innovative data center, cloud, and security services and solutions that deliver superior results. future placements at these specific companies are not guaranteed INTERNSHIP PROGRAM QUALIFICATIONS To be eligible for the HBCU Forward Procurement Internship Program, you must: Be a U.S. citizen Have a minimum 2.7 GPA Be enrolled in a degree-seeking program in an accredited HBCU Be an Undergraduate Junior or Senior Student APPLICATION PROCESS Please complete this online application form.
