About the position U.S. Bank is seeking a Network Operations Center Analyst to monitor and manage Mainframe Operating systems and network connections, ensuring the availability and performance of critical applications. This role involves 24/7 support, incident management, and collaboration with technical teams to maintain operational efficiency and resolve issues promptly. Responsibilities • Constantly monitor Mainframe MVS operation system LPARs activity via console messages, logs, and network management system. , • Develop and review Knowledge Management documentation for accuracy and participate in training peers on operational functions. , • Create, update, and resolve all incidents via the corporate ServiceNow Tool, taking corrective action as defined in operating procedures. , • Assist with implementing monthly/quarterly application releases and mainframe hardware upgrades and maintenance. , • Monitor high priority incidents, alerts, and significant changes, escalating for awareness as necessary. , • Provide support for enterprise-wide production and test environments, assisting application developers during testing phases. , • Analyze Network Operations Center application and system events using appropriate test structures and related diagnostics. , • Interpret and apply policies, procedures, and best practices related to Network Operations Center services. Requirements • Associate degree or equivalent work experience. , • At least 2 years of experience in a data center operating environment and production systems management. , • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. , • Knowledge of JCL (Job Control Language), HMC & System IPL's, TSO, MVS, JES, and automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins). Nice-to-haves • Working knowledge of scheduling tools such as CA7 and ticketing systems like ServiceNow. , • Experience in computer operations and hardware infrastructure management. , • Operations/Automation experience.
