Medical Transcriptionist/Editor (QC/QA)
We are currently looking for an experienced candidate for the Medical Transcription/Editor (Quality Analyst) position. Requirements: Experience working with specialties such as psychiatry, podiatry, cardiology, dermatology, plastic surgery, hematology/oncology, and radiology will be an advantage. Experience working with doctors who have accents is also preferred. Associate or Bachelor's degree (in a related field preferred). 5+ years of experience as a Medical transcriptionist (Certified) and 10+ years of experience as an Editor. Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Should be able to listen, transcribe, and edit reports with 98.5% accuracy. Typing speed should be a minimum of 40 wpm. Maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of transcription/EMR software and tools. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexible working hours.
