SAP TM Functional Consultant (Salt Lake City, UT - Remote)

Salary: SAP TM Functional Consultant (Salt Lake City, UT - Remote) We are looking to hire a candidate with the skill sets mentioned and experience for one of our clients within the Food and Beverage manufacturing industry. This is a 6+ month contract with the potential for extension. This is a remote role based in Salt Lake City (Magna, UT). • Need Only local candidates to Salt Lake City, UT/Magna, UT* Job Summary : The ideal candidate will bring 5 plus years of hands-on experience in SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM), SAP LE (Logistics Execution), and SAP Logistics Business Network (LBN). In this role, you will be responsible for setting up SAP TM master data elements, configuring various document types (OTR/DTR, Freight Orders), and integrating SAP TM with other business processes, including Sales Orders, Deliveries, Purchase Orders, and Service Entry Sheets. A strong background in Freight Planning, VSR Optimizer, freight charge calculations, and EDI/IDOC/RFC data interfacing is essential. Key Responsibilities: • Set up and maintain SAP TM master data elements and configure document types, including OTR/DTR, Freight Orders, and other relevant documents. • Configure and integrate SAP TM with Sales Orders, Deliveries, Purchase Orders, and Service Entry Sheets. • Work closely with business teams to ensure smooth integration of SAP TM with other systems and processes. • Manage Freight Planning, VSR Optimizer, and the implementation of freight charge calculations. • Oversee data interfaces, including EDI/IDOC/RFC integrations, to ensure accurate and efficient data flow across systems. • Provide functional expertise and support throughout the SAP TM implementation and optimization processes. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of SAP TM solutions with business objectives. Required Skills/Experience/Education: • 5-8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP TM (Transportation Management) and SAP LE (Logistics Execution). • Strong knowledge of SAP Logistics Business Network (LBN) and its integration with SAP TM. • Proven experience in configuring and managing SAP TM master data, document types (OTR/DTR, Freight Orders), and integration with Sales Orders, Deliveries, Purchase Orders, and Service Entry Sheets. • Solid understanding of Freight Planning, VSR Optimizer, and freight charge calculations. • Experience with EDI/IDOC/RFC data interfacing and troubleshooting. • Knowledge of SAP OTC (Order to Cash) processes and integration with SAP TM. • Previous experience working with Accenture and/or Lamb Weston is a plus.
