Join our esteemed organization as a Bookkeeper, where your expertise will be vital in managing the financial operations for a diverse portfolio of optometry clients. Our mission is to empower independent optometrists while providing exceptional bookkeeping services tailored to their unique needs... Key Responsibilities • Supervise the bookkeeping and financial reporting processes for independent practice owners. • Assist in transaction coding and collaborate with practice owners on decisions relating to expenses and capitalizing on equipment purchases. • Reconcile accounts and guarantee that monthly financial books are completed accurately. • Support payroll processes by managing payroll, tax payments, and report filing. • Provide assistance to up to 60 client practices monthly. • Contribute feedback and engage in enhancing our service offerings. Required Skills • Expertise in QuickBooks Online is essential. • Experience with payroll systems such as QuickBooks Payroll, Gusto Payroll, ADP, and/or Paychex is preferred. • Strong proficiency in Excel, including proficiency with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other functions. • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, time management, decision-making abilities, and meticulous attention to detail. • Highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely. • Committed to collaboration and teamwork. • Adaptable and capable of succeeding in a dynamic setting. Qualifications • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is mandatory. • Previous experience in bookkeeping is preferred. • Familiarity with small business financial management is beneficial. • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
