In doing so, they must travel throughout the pick area of the warehouse and construct stable product pallets while adhering to safety, accuracy, and efficiency standards. Duties & Responsibilities: • Follow the instructions on the pick ticket to place the product quantities onto designated pallets while keeping in mind the safety and stability of the items. • Utilize a Pallet Jack, which is a Powered Industrial Truck, to transfer stacks of products to distinct sections of the warehouse. • Provide help with maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the warehouse through regular housekeeping chores. • Complete the PIT checklist on a daily basis and immediately notify Warehouse Management of any inconsistencies or anomalies. • Correct any mistakes identified by the checker regarding product and quantity. • Carry out diverse tasks to assist in streamlining the warehouse operations. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: • The competence to function in a high-paced setting, ambulating, and repeatedly raising objects weighing 30 pounds. • Capability to carry a load of up to 75 pounds. • Being able to work together cohesively in a team environment is crucial to achieving success. • Streamline and manage warehouse procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. • Ensure that you remain flexible and versatile throughout the workday so that you can adapt to different environments and effectively fulfill your job responsibilities. • Interpret instructions displayed on the computer screen by carefully reading and understanding them before proceeding. • Having a keen eye for details and the ability to distinguish between different packages is crucial. • Undertake your job amidst a cacophonous and untempered atmosphere that is subject to seasonal extremes. • Possessing a proactive and self-motivated attitude, I take the initiative to get things done and remain flexible with scheduling and working hours. Minimum Qualifications: • A year-long tenure of employment imparts valuable expertise. • Obtaining certification for operating a Pallet Jack is essential for ensuring workplace safety. Preferred Qualifications: • Obtaining a high school diploma or GED is essential in today's job market. • Understanding gained through a year's worth of job exposure. • A certification program for operating a Pallet Jack, which is a Powered Industrial Truck, is known as PIT Certification. Work Environment: • The atmosphere is characterized by excessive noise levels and is not temperature-controlled, becoming intolerably hot during the summer and cold during the winter.
