Junior Media Buyer (YouTube) – REMOTE (CST)

As a Junior Media Buyer you will provide support across several functions; namely setting up new YouTube video campaigns, monitoring and managing live campaigns, reviewing and analyzing data to make improvement optimizations, and troubleshooting issues when they arise. This position requires a good mix of technical and people skills, strong attention to detail with an extremely low error rate... and the ability to work in an operational environment where service and urgency make a difference. This role will report to the Senior Director of Ad Operations. Ensure IO fulfillment. • Campaign Setup: Error-free setup of new YouTube video ad campaigns. Implementation of CM360 tracking and ADH-approved 3rd party measurement vendors. • Campaign Optimization: Monitor and analyze to ensure we are meeting client KPIS and provide suggestions for optimization. Work with the team to proactively investigate delivery issues and communicate any/all changes to internal parties. • Campaign Quality and Brand Suitability: Ensure clients are running exclusively in brand suitable environments by analyzing video placement reports. Ensure clients are running within contracted targeting parameters by analyzing post-launch delivery reports. What You Need The successful candidate will be an inspiring and confident team member with the following skillset: • 1-3 years of experience buying and running YouTube video advertising in a media buyer capacity. • Proficiency and experience within DSP buying platforms (e.g. DV360, Google Ads, The Trade Desk, Amobee, etc.) • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. • Working knowledge of 3P tracking tags (CM360, Innovid, etc.) and 3rd party measurement partners (DoubleVerify, Kantar, IAS, etc.). • Google Ads/DV360 certification and hands-on experience with TrueView advertising. Any of the following are a PLUS! • Familiarity with Looker and Tableau reporting software. • Familiarity with Boolean search logic and comfortable using ChatGPT for daily efficiencies • Experience with HTML, JavaScript and/or other forms of online creative and code is a plus. • Degree in Advertising, Marketing, or related field. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following abilities: • Detail Oriented: Solid track record exhibiting high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and very low data-entry error rate. • Self-Starter: someone who gets things done, can follow broad instructions, work with minimal supervision and be diligent and eager to learn. • Problem Solver: Ability to test, solve, and discover new routes to achieve a desired end result. • Communication:excellent oral and written skills.
