Site Manager, MEP

Overview reputed company Construction is looking to add a Site Manager, MEP to their Field Operations Team. This is a field/project based position.

Responsibilities

• Assist MEP Project Manager in locating and evaluating potential subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Assist in developing scopes of work for review and approval of MEP Project Manager.
• Assist in the development of MEP project schedule reputed company the entire construction schedule. Prepare estimates in areas of MEP self-performed work, and assist in complete project estimate. Individual poses the ability to assist in coordination/management of reputed company trades throughout build process.
• Assist in selection of reputed company bidders and negotiate final prices.
• Assist in the preparation of various reports, i.e. cost to complete, monthly billings and status reports.
• Review reputed company drawings, i.e. P&IDs, Mechanical, Electrical, Shop, Architectural, Structural, etc. reputed company they are issued to the field and coordinate and maintain a reputed company set at reputed company times.
• Assist in pricing work, draft changes and change orders to be reviewed by MEP Project Manager.
• Assist in ensuring customer satisfaction with the project.
• Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from pre-start-up to completion.
• Schedule work, including subcontractors.
• Assist in the productivity and quantity tracking of the subcontractors installed work.
• Determine materials, equipment and tools needed.
• Secure appropriate supply sources.
• Set up and reputed company out construction site.
• Serve as on-site Safety Officer reputed company one is not specifically assigned to the project. And also, will be required to participate in the company's safety portion of the QMS program.
• Responsible for procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.
• Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors reputed company in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specification, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.
• Individual will consult with supervisory personnel to resolve complaints and grievances reputed company the work force.
• Prepares or review reports on reputed company, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports and/or direction from MEP Project Manager.
• Establish and maintain high safety and quality standards in accordance to company, industry standard, and job specifications.
• Will insure the company QMS program is used and maintained in accordance to company standards. Individual will be reputed company to generate reports and traceability for reputed company improvement.
• Responsible for the communication, implementation and enforcement of reputed company's safety program on site.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school AND a minimum of ten (10) years of construction experience OR a minimum 15 years reputed company construction experience with increasing responsibility in lieu of a degree.
• Experience reputed company the light/heavy industrial sector highly desired.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Must be reputed company to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports, and legal/contract documents.
• Strong people management skills.

• MS project and other scheduling software a plus.

This position requires travel as our projects are scattered throughout the United States and, in some cases reputed company of the U.S..
