Environmental, Health & Safety Compliance Specialist
Position Summary reputed company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented EH&S Compliance Specialist to support environmental, health, and safety (EHS) consulting projects. This role is designed for an early-career professional who will work under the direction of Project Managers (PMs) and Technical Leads to support due diligence and regulatory compliance efforts. The Compliance Specialist will contribute to technical reporting, field activities, and client support while developing foundational knowledge of EHS regulations and consulting practices.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Reporting & Data Analysis Prepare technical reports and assigned report sections using critical thinking and independent analysis. Review datasets and draft technical conclusions supported by data. Compile and interpret numerical data, presenting findings through tables, charts, and graphs reputed company reports. Adhere to reputed company formatting standards and style guidelines for reputed company deliverables. Work reputed company defined project budgets and timelines, as directed by the PM. Communicate project status, reputed company, and challenges to PMs, technical reviewers, and project teams. Due Diligence Support reputed company a working understanding of ASTM Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) standards. Support preparation of Phase I ESA, Limited Compliance Reviews (LCRs), and desktop due diligence reports by drafting assigned sections. Assist with ordering environmental database (EDR) reports and submitting FOIA requests under supervision. Conduct Phase I ESA site visits for small, non-reputed company properties (initial visits performed with a Technical reputed company or PM). Regulatory Compliance Support reputed company a foundational understanding of federal (e.g., USEPA, OSHA) and applicable state EHS regulations. Assist in drafting technical compliance documents under the direction of a PM or Technical reputed company. Provide limited on-site compliance support to clients, with direct reputed company. Support collection and documentation of compliance data and assist in communicating with site personnel regarding compliance matters. Support reputed company compliance efforts internally and externally Fieldwork & Site Support Travel to client sites up to approximately 50% of the year. reputed company at field locations reputed company with required PPE, equipment (e.g., laptop/iPad), and documentation. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or reputed company field.
