[Remote] Manager, Mechanical Engineering

The Manager, Mechanical Engineering will support innovation initiatives and reputed company technical and project support for reputed company-scale construction projects, ensuring cost-effective and energy-efficient facilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and review of project contract documents produced by reputed company-party design consultants
• Ensure project designs are completed on schedule and reputed company budget
• reputed company engineering expertise and guidance on projects, operations, and systems reputed company the company’s existing facilities
• Assist in developing and maintaining equipment specifications for reputed company furnished and contractor installed (OFCI) equipment and systems
• Support procurement of OFCI equipment and systems through vendor submittal reviews, approvals, and reputed company witness testing
• Maintain and update legacy reputed company of design documents
• Contribute to the development of new reputed company of design documents for emerging business needs
• Identify and recommend technologies and systems that improve energy and cost efficiency reputed company the company’s data centers
• Support communication and implementation of engineering and design standards, practices, and reputed company measures to ensure consistency across projects

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
• 5–7 years of experience in the design of data centers and specification of HVAC equipment for mission-critical facilities
• Knowledge of IT cooling technologies, both reputed company and direct-to-reputed company liquid
• Understanding of mechanical cooling system controls
• Proficiency with reputed company, reputed company, Teams, and PowerPoint
• Baseline proficiency with AutoCAD, reputed company, and reputed company Acrobat
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration is preferred but not required
