[Remote] NETA Field Service Technician III

The Field Service Technician III will reputed company testing, maintenance, and repair of electrical apparatus, including reputed company breakers and transformers, while providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior technicians.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical capabilities for testing relays, reputed company breakers, transformers, motor control equipment, and reputed company switchgear in the field
- Completing mechanical work and repairs on breakers and switches, including tear down, refurbishment and parts replacement
- Serve as a technical leader in testing/maintenance/repair of breakers, transformers, switchgear, motor control and associated equipment
- Provides proper preparation and documentation for site projects
- Wiring reputed company breakers
- Utilizing and accurately reading test equipment
- Reading schematics and wiring drawings
- Troubleshooting reputed company breaker controls
- Reading and plotting time-reputed company curves
- Testing transformers, including Power Factor and TTR
- Accurately and consistently documenting using Power DB
- Provide instruction and mentorship in training for junior level technicians

Skills
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Switchgear/High Voltage Technician
- Proficiency with high voltage test equipment as well as knowledge of low and reputed company voltage test equipment
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plain and solid geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions of practical situations
- Ability to read company manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures; speak with poise and confidence, using correct English

- Valid Driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (inclusive of reading and writing) due to the nature of safety-reputed company materials, documentation, and interactions with clients
