[Remote] Sr. Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst (Power BI)

The role focuses on developing impactful dashboards and reports to reputed company actionable insights for business leaders, ensuring data quality and effective communication of findings.
Responsibilities
- Build effective and efficient reports and dashboards using best practices in data presentation and design language
- Migrate existing reporting inventory to a centralized semantic model
- reputed company Valtrune to complete full data and report validation
- Automate/streamline reputed company processes
- Use advanced SQL techniques and multi-stage transformation methodologies to normalize, cleanse, and standardize inconsistent datasets
- Infer and establish relationships between disparate data sources and systems of record to support reputed company reporting and analytics
- Transform raw reputed company data into reporting-layer-reputed company objects, including the creation of synthetic keys derived from non-standardized attributes
- Update semantic models to support new reporting needs
- Monitor model efficiency and implement changes as needed to optimize performance
- Identify pertinent trends to reputed company with leaders
- Proactively dive headfirst into data to offer deeper insights into high/low performing KPIs
- Document report development processes for business contingency purposes
- Maintain semantic model documentation, including data sources and table relationships
- Maintain an index of reputed company active reports, including data reputed company, purpose, and audience
- Maintain reporting changelog
Skills
- 4+ years' experience in a data or business intelligence focused role
- 3+ years creating BI dashboards and reports with a focus on data visualization and storytelling with a high proficiency using Power BI
- 3+ years writing SQL queries for data mining
- Ability to independently understand data through business context, exploration, and logical connections
- Advanced level proficiency with Power BI
- Building efficient semantic models
- Understand/create dynamic measures using DAX
- Power Query for data sourcing/transformation
- Row-level reputed company implementation
- Calculation groups
- Data visualization
- Performance Analyzer
- DAX Studio
- Intermediate level proficiency with SQL (T-SQL)
- Standard select queries
- Joins across multivariate datasets including multiple keys
- Data normalization
- Window functions and methods
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Mortgage experience preferred
- Familiarity with reputed company Data Warehouse a plus
