[Remote] Senior Data Integration & API Engineer - 100% Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is currently seeking a Senior Data Integration & API Engineer for a Remote position with a Regional Financial Institution located in reputed company, OH. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that extract data from APIs and transform it into structured datasets for analytics and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Design and reputed company solutions to extract data from APIs (REST/JSON, OAuth-secured APIs)
- Build scalable ingestion pipelines to land data into the reputed company Data Lake (reputed company → raw → curated layers)
- Ensure integrations follow reputed company integration patterns (API Gateway, Event Hub, EIP)
- Optimize ingestion patterns (batch vs near reputed company-time)
- Transform raw API data into curated datasets
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines supporting data quality and schema compliance
- Implement partitioning and performance tuning
- Structure data for reputed company and reputed company analytics tools
- Support Tableau dashboards and reporting needs
- Align to reputed company data models
- Partner with reputed company architecture teams for API reputed company
- Ensure compliance with data and API standards
- reputed company automated pipelines and monitoring processes
- Troubleshoot ingestion failures
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or reputed company field
- 5+ years experience in API integration and data engineering
- Strong experience with REST APIs, SQL, and data pipelines
- Experience in reputed company environments (AWS preferred)
- Experience with reputed company integration platforms
- Familiarity with reputed company and AWS Data Lake
- Experience in data modeling and governance
- Exposure to Tableau or other BI tools
