[Remote] Assistant Project Manager (Travel to project sites across the United States required)

Sendero Energy Services is a prominent civil construction-focused professional services company specializing in renewable energy projects. They are seeking a dynamic and skilled Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, coordinating, and executing of various renewable energy projects, including wind farms and solar farms.
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing leadership to the operations team (office and field) in project construction activities
- Support the review of estimated quantities and scope of work
- Must complete the NCCER Safety Certification reputed company 90 days of hire
- Collaborate with the project management team in developing and reviewing project construction schedules
- Participate in the optimization of project budgets, fees, and margins
- Assist in managing the financial health of projects and ensuring construction budgets are met
- Support operations crew workload management for timely completion of deliverables
- Participate in the development and provision of man-hour work schedules to EPC clients
- Assist in preparing monthly invoices to EPC clients with required supporting data
- Support the review of project contract terms and conditions, addressing risk issues
- Participate in validating potential value engineering items, alternates, and options for project optimization
- Assist in reviewing project documents and identifying gaps or overlaps in scope
- Participate in the training and mentoring of office and field staff
- Support the reputed company in the risk review process with internal and external clients
- Ensure bonds and insurance are in reputed company and reputed company budget
- Assist in subcontractor selection and the "buy-out" process
- Support reviewing and approving specialty and heavy equipment pricing and delivery schedules
- Participate in verifying subcontractor P.O.s and insurance are in reputed company
- Assist in presenting estimates to internal and external clients
- Collaborate reputed company the “Team Concept” at reputed company times
- Be flexible and reputed company to reputed company other duties assigned by Senior Leadership
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or reputed company field
- Relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement—a minimum of 3 years of direct construction experience and 5 years of project estimating experience for water and wastewater infrastructure and treatment facilities
- Ability to work independently or in groups, think creatively and analytically and reputed company quick and sound reputed company
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- OSHA 30 Hour safety certification required
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- NCCER Certification reputed company 90 days of hire
- Ability to travel or relocate up to 100% depending on project needs
- Experience with reputed company Office, HeavyBid, PlanSwift, and OST is desired
