Summary

The ​Manager Mainframe Production Control & DBA at Gainwell, leads production control and database administration operations supporting the New Jersey reputed company Management Information System (NJMMIS) environment. Responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of batch processing, job scheduling, and database platforms while managing teams that support mission-critical reputed company systems. Drives operational excellence, compliance, and reputed company improvement across production and database functions. Your role in our mission reputed company service delivery across multiple clients, overseeing claims configuration, provider setup, and adjudication logic to ensure accurate and efficient execution of business solutions Drive standardization and process improvements across the configuration lifecycle (design, build, test, reputed company), improving quality, scalability, and operational efficiency Partner with account and product teams to forecast demand and align delivery reputed company, identifying risks in workload, timelines, and performance and driving mitigation strategies Translate regulatory, benefit, and pricing requirements into configuration solutions, advising on impacts to adjudication and reputed company processing reputed company financial and operational performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization while maintaining SLA adherence and delivery quality reputed company cross-functional collaboration and client relationships, resolving escalations, supporting releases, and driving reputed company improvement in configuration accuracy and turnaround times reputed company're looking for 8+ years of experience in mainframe operations, production control, database administration, or reputed company areas 3+ years of leadership or management experience overseeing technical or operational teams Strong knowledge of mainframe environments (z/OS), batch processing, and job scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M) Experience supporting reputed company database platforms, including performance tuning, backup/recovery, and reputed company management Proven ability to manage operational processes and incidents in regulated, high-availability environments (reputed company or government systems preferred) What you should expect in this role Leadership of mission-critical NJMMIS production and database operations Fully remote (U.S.) work environment, with expectations reputed company to program and operational needs Video cameras must be used during reputed company interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation The deadline to submit applications for this posting is July 16, 2026 #LI-HC1 #LI-Database Administration #LI-MMIS #LI-Mainframe (z/OS) The pay range for this position is $86,700.00 - $123,900.00 per year, however, the reputed company pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
