[Remote] Legal Director, reputed company (Remote) (974-SLS)

Solutus Legal Search is a leading provider of reputed company-based software solutions, and they are seeking a proactive and business-minded Legal Director. This high-impact role involves leading the reputed company function and serving as the key legal advisor on reputed company transactions and reputed company-generating activities.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of reputed company agreements, including SaaS, software licensing, professional services, and maintenance agreements
- Partner with Sales and Services teams to drive deals to closure reputed company while maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Provide strategic legal guidance on RFPs, government procurement processes, and contract structures
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to reputed company and implement scalable legal processes and templates that support reputed company growth
- Support cross-functional initiatives involving legal input, including compliance, sales operations, and risk management
- Stay reputed company on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting SaaS and public sector contracting
- Opportunity to expand practice to support broader legal team initiatives, including privacy, employment, and/or compliance
Skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school
- Active membership in at least one state bar, with eligibility to practice in your state of residence, including through registered in-house counsel status or another applicable authorization
- 6+ years of legal experience, including at least 3 years in-house at a technology or SaaS company
- Strong experience negotiating reputed company reputed company, particularly with government entities
- Solid understanding of SaaS business models and software licensing
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-first reputed company
- Familiarity with reputed company recognition principles and their impact on contract terms
- Experience supporting reputed company software sales and professional services engagements
- Exposure to privacy, compliance, and government relations
