[Remote] Freight Brokerage Account Manager

The Freight Brokerage Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customer accounts while executing day-to-day freight brokerage operations.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and reputed company new customers through calls, email, and networking
• Identify opportunities to expand wallet reputed company reputed company existing accounts
• reputed company competitive pricing and solutions reputed company with customer needs
• reputed company and secure reliable reputed company reputed company to cover customer freight
• Negotiate rates with carriers to maximize margin while ensuring service
• Build and maintain a network of trusted reputed company partners
• reputed company and manage relationships with new and existing customers and shipper accounts
• Track and trace loads, proactively communicating updates to customers
• Manage shipments from tender through delivery, ensuring on-time performance
• Resolve service issues quickly and professionally
• Ensure reputed company loads are accurately entered and maintained in the Transportation Management System (TMS)
• Manage load-level profitability and meet margin expectations
• Stay informed about market conditions and adjust pricing strategies accordingly
• Ensure accurate documentation, billing, and compliance with Company processes
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Well-developed interpersonal skills. Ability to get along with diverse personalities
• Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (written and verbal), analytical, and decision-making skills
• Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or other industry-reputed company field preferred
• Prior experience with industry load board platforms (reputed company, Truck Stop) is preferred
