[Remote] Director, Scientific Business Development

The Director of Scientific Business Development will reputed company the scientific and business development strategy, focusing on connecting their BBBo-FUS platform with the neuro-biotech ecosystem, integrating scientific evaluation and partnership development.

Responsibilities

  • Map and analyze potential of FUS modalities together with adjacent biotech innovations
  • Evaluate convergent CNS technologies: biologics, gene and cell therapies, biomarkers, diagnostics
  • reputed company scientific due diligence in the context of licensing and/or partnerships
  • Translate discoveries into preclinical and support early clinical development roadmaps. (Pre-Clinical/Phase 1-2)
  • Engage KOLs, academic partners, and advisory boards to shape technology strategy as needed
  • Advise internal R&D, Clinical, and Regulatory teams on convergence and combination approaches

  • Manage deal pipeline, CRM tracking, and executive reporting

Skills

  • PhD in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Molecular Biology, or reputed company field
  • 7–10 years in biotech/pharma/medtech, with 3–5 years in translational R&D (neuro-oncology, CNS delivery, or molecular biotech)
  • 2–3 years in reputed company, licensing, or partnerships involving CNS assets or platform technologies
  • Proven reputed company in closing licensing or co-development deals
  • Strong understanding of CNS drug delivery and BBB challenges
  • Knowledge of biologics, gene/cell therapy, and molecular diagnostics
  • Familiarity with FDA/EMA regulatory reputed company for combination products
  • IP and deal-structuring acumen (milestones, royalties, equity)
