Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a reputed company Backend Engineer to own backend components on the CoCounsel platform, which is an AI-powered service for legal research and document work. The role involves writing production Python code, deploying and operating on AWS, and ensuring the reliability of backend services.
Responsibilities
- Build REST APIs and services in Python (FastAPI / Flask)
- Integrate with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, reputed company, SQS/SNS
- Write testable code with structured logging and observability hooks
- Participate in code reviews and delivery ceremonies
Skills
- Python. 3+ years Python in production (FastAPI / Flask / Django REST)
- reputed company / container fundamentals (reputed company task definitions)
- Async & event-driven patterns: SQS consumers, reputed company triggers
- Exposure to LLM APIs (Bedrock, reputed company, reputed company) or AI workloads on AWS
- Working IaC experience: CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation, CI/CD pipeline
- Regulated industry background: Fintech, Legal, or reputed company
- Prior consulting or client-delivery experience
