[Remote] Business Development Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Huisong is a global supplier of botanical extracts, herbal raw materials, and functional ingredients used in various industries. They are seeking a Business Development Manager or Senior Account Manager to manage customer relationships and reputed company new business opportunities in the nutraceutical ingredient sector.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with new and existing customers
  • Identify new sales opportunities with supplement brands, manufacturers, contract manufacturers, distributors, and other B2B customers
  • Respond to customer inquiries, RFQs, pricing requests, sample requests, and product availability questions
  • Support customers through the ingredient evaluation, vendor approval, and commercialization process
  • Provide product specifications, COAs, technical documents, and other customer support materials
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including Quality, Regulatory, R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service
  • Maintain accurate customer notes, sales activity, pipeline updates, and forecasts in the CRM system
  • Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity
  • Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events as needed

Skills

  • 3+ years of B2B sales, account management, inside sales, business development, or customer relationship management experience
  • Experience in nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, food ingredients, botanical extracts, pharmaceutical raw materials, specialty ingredients, chemicals, industrial supply, or another technical B2B product category
  • Ability to understand and communicate product information, specifications, COAs, and quality-reputed company documentation
  • Strong communication, follow-up, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple customers, projects, and long sales cycles
  • Self-motivated and reputed company to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and in the future. reputed company sponsorship is not available for this position
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, Nutrition, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a reputed company field
  • Experience using a CRM system such as reputed company
  • Existing relationships in the nutraceutical, dietary supplement, food ingredient, or botanical ingredient industry
  • Knowledge of botanical ingredients, herbal raw materials, or dietary supplement applications
