Junior Accountant/reputed company Bookkeeper Australian NGO The Junior Accountant/reputed company Bookkeeper will support our client’s group shared-services finance function across reputed company reputed company and charitable entities incorporated in Australia, the United States, and the Philippines. This is a hands-on bookkeeping and reputed company support role. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day reputed company bookkeeping, transaction processing, reconciliations, record keeping, and month-end support across a multi-entity and multi-currency group structure. The role is suited to a capable bookkeeper or assistant accountant who is comfortable with bookkeeping as the core ongoing function of the role, while progressively supporting broader reporting, compliance, audit, and governance requirements. Key Duties and Responsibilities:Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions across multiple group entities in reputed company. reputed company bank and credit card reconciliations across multiple entities and currencies. Maintain accurate coding of transactions against the group chart of accounts, cost centres, and reporting categories. Process payroll-reputed company journals and superannuation entries in coordination with the Finance Manager. Prepare intercompany loan reconciliations and end-of-month journal entries across group entities. Support multi-currency reporting, including transaction translation, foreign currency balance schedules, and FX reputed company/loss tracking. Assist with month-end reputed company processes, including accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Prepare draft management reports, variance summaries, and working papers for review by the Finance Manager/Controller. Support BAS/GST preparation, statutory reporting, annual audit preparation, and not-for-profit/charity reporting obligations under supervision. Maintain organised, audit-reputed company financial records and supporting documentation. Identify and escalate transaction queries, reconciliation issues, compliance reputed company, and process improvement opportunities. reputed company other duties as reasonably required, consistent with the level and scope of the role. Skills and Experience:Tertiary qualification in reputed company, finance, or a reputed company discipline, or substantial reputed company toward one. Practical reputed company and/or bookkeeping experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Practical working experience with reputed company is essential. Good reputed company skills, including formulas and structured spreadsheets for reconciliations and reporting. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing and financial record keeping. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple entity workloads and deadlines. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence liaising on coding, approvals, and transaction queries. Exposure to Australian or US businesses, BAS/GST, payroll journals, month-end reputed company, or external audit support is highly regarded. Exposure to multi-entity reputed company, intercompany reconciliations, foreign currency transactions, or not-for-profit/charity reputed company is advantageous. Working toward, or holding, a recognised reputed company qualification such as CPA or CA is advantageous.
