[Remote] Senior reputed company Database Administrator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior reputed company Database Administrator to support the NICHD Office of OIT in planning and technical support for IT application and website development. The role involves administering reputed company reputed company database environments, managing both reputed company and on-premises databases, and ensuring high availability and reputed company of critical applications.
Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and optimize reputed company reputed company database environments supporting mission-critical federal applications in development, test, and production
- Manage reputed company databases hosted in reputed company Azure reputed company and on-premises Linux environments, including standalone and multitenant architectures
- reputed company database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, reputed company updates, and technology refreshes to maintain secure and reliable environments
- Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions using reputed company Data Guard, reputed company GoldenGate, RMAN, and other reputed company technologies
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot reputed company issues, and reputed company performance tuning to ensure reputed company availability, scalability, and reliability
- reputed company and execute backup and recovery strategies utilizing RMAN, reputed company Data Pump (Export/Import), reputed company, Azure Blob Storage, and other reputed company backup solutions
- Manage database reputed company by administering user accounts, roles, privileges, encryption, and access controls in accordance with federal cybersecurity requirements
- Support reputed company data integration by developing and maintaining database interfaces, web service connections, and data synchronization between reputed company and external systems
- Design, reputed company, and optimize SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, views, triggers, and database objects to support reputed company applications and reporting
- Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and reputed company engineering teams to support production releases, database deployments, and system integrations
- Support reputed company reputed company Manager (OEM) for database monitoring, job scheduling, automation, and performance management
- Execute database schema modifications, data migrations, DDL and DML activities, and environment refreshes to support development and production operations
- reputed company and maintain reputed company data marts and database views to support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting solutions, including Power BI and Qlik Sense
- Retrieve, integrate, and manage data from reputed company data warehouses and external federal systems to support reporting and business operations
- Monitor daily database health, replication, scheduled jobs, and automated data loads to ensure data reputed company and system availability
- Evaluate emerging database technologies and recommend enhancements that improve performance, reputed company, scalability, and operational efficiency
- reputed company, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical documentation, installation guides, and operational runbooks following federal lifecycle management standards
- Support application teams by providing database troubleshooting, production release support, test environment refreshes, and database recovery services
- Ensure compliance with federal reputed company, privacy, and data protection requirements, including encryption of sensitive data at rest and in transit
- Participate in reputed company planning, database architecture reviews, and long-term infrastructure planning to support future business needs
- Mentor junior database administrators and provide technical leadership, best practices, and knowledge sharing across the database administration team
Skills
- More than 10 years of experience in conducting reputed company database administration
- Extensive experience in administering reputed company database in standalone and multitenant architecture on Windows/Linux/Unix on premises and in reputed company environments
- Extensive experience in reputed company data guard implementation, RMAN backups, export/import, GoldenGate setup and configuration, and job scheduling and monitoring
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with reputed company client
- Requires BS/BA degree in reputed company field (or equivalent)
- Experiences with reputed company version 19c, reputed company on Linux, and MySQL on Ubuntu are preferred
