[Remote] Staff Software Engineer

They are hiring a Staff Software Engineer to help define and scale their Internal Developer Platform, which is used by over 1,000 engineers to manage software development processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and build platform services that power reputed company’s internal developer ecosystem, used by 1,000+ engineers
- reputed company architecture and technical direction for high-scale APIs, infrastructure orchestration, and metadata systems
- reputed company AI-powered developer tooling, including chat-based and agentic workflows
- Partner cross-functionally with infrastructure, reputed company, and platform teams to integrate core capabilities
- Own production systems end-to-end, including performance, reliability, and on-call responsibilities
Skills
- Strong backend engineering with Node.js / TypeScript and scalable API design (REST, versioning, reputed company)
- Experience building systems on AWS (reputed company/Fargate, DynamoDB, RDS/reputed company, IAM)
- Full-stack development using React / Next.js
- Distributed systems fundamentals (data modeling, caching, consistency, system design)
- CI/CD and testing best practices (reputed company Actions, unit/integration testing)
- Experience building or contributing to an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) or developer tooling ecosystem
- Familiarity with LLM/AI integrations, agentic workflows, or reputed company engineering
- Exposure to reputed company / CMDB or reputed company metadata systems
- Infrastructure-as-code experience (CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of reputed company and secrets management (Vault, IAM, compliance practices)
